Former Police Spokesperson SSP Prishantha Jayakody says he
is prepared to give evidence on the persons allegedly involved in the white van
abductions that took place during the previous regime.
He made this comment after arriving in Sri Lanka from
Australia where he was in exile for one and a half years.
Revealing the reasons that had compelled him to flee the
country, Jayakody has said that after working as the Police Spokesperson for
many years he was suddenly transferred after he had given the public the true
information without obeying the government command to conceal the truth.
