Lalith de Silva of Srilanka Telecom has suddenly becomes a Maithri Follower!

CEO of Sri Lanka Telecom has had a transformation of mammoth proportions has become a ardent follower of the President Maithripala Sirisena.

During the recently concluded elections SLT has spent Millions of Rupees on promoting the Ex President Rajapakse. Mr Lalith de Silva is using his friends close to the President by sending messages via them explaining that he was always supporting the Maithri faction privately in a very enthusiastic way.

He has taken steps to remove all Pictures & momento's  connecting him to Ex President from his office. In palce his displayed the pictures of the President.

During the election he has arranged SLT to print half a million calendars promoting the ex president. Also he has got SLT to print over million copies of promotional booklets for the ex president. This work was done in addition to the advertisements appearing in the newspapers promoting the ex President in a very open manner. 

Also he provided all technical facilities to BBS in their activities in spreading rumors about President Sirisena's campaign detrimental to the election. Also he made all facilities for SMS campaign of ex president Rajapakse. He provided 12 SLT employees for this SMS campaign free of charge.

It has been reliably informed that he is paid over Three Million rupees per month. SLT is a company with 53% SL government holding, therefore it is hoped corrupt officials of this nature will not be tolerated under President Sirisena's  rule.  Hope President Sirisena will be briefed on these unethical activities of Mr Lalith de Silva.
