Lihiniya aircraft made by the inventor Mr Ray Wijewardane has become a toy for the boys through unscrupulous manipulators who are there to look after our modern heritage. Me being an aircraft enthusiast all my life would have loved to see this airplane fully resurrected and displayed in SLAF Museum at Ratmalana. Definitely not to be stored in some tinpot warehouse of a third grade media network in Narahenpita. I would like to ask Mr Chandran Ratnam who is listed as a adviser to the Ray Wijewardane Trust whether he happened to get the approval of the trustees to release this aircraft from his custody to someone else? As I understand Mr Chandran Ratnam promised to give the aircraft a good home at his Asian Aviation Center by using it as educational tool for the students & look after the it. The aircraft is depicted being used for such purposes as the following picture from its own web site.

All I want know is will somebody take responsibility to this debacle of aeronautical heritage & own up to say "Sorry we made a mistake & we will put it right"
