Theravadi Kathikavath Bill requires 2/3rd majority & referendum
The determination of the Supreme Court is the 'Theravadi Kathikavath Bill' contravenes the constitution and as such requires a 2/3rd majority in Parliament and a referendum if the Bill is to be enacted, Speaker Karu Jayasuriya informed Parliament today.
