Presidential Palace in KKS - Jaffna - in pictures

President Maithripala Sirisena has inspected the construction of a New Presidential Palatial Compound in KKS. About 80% of the project has been completed. Estimated construction cost has been set at Two billion rupees. Ex President Mahinda Rajapaksa has claimed in a press release that the construction in KKS is not a Presidential Complex, but it is an International Convention Center! Critics of the previous administration claim why do we need so many convention centers when we have very good resorts all over the country.
