We have a President who approves wrong doing by Legislators appointed by us!!! - Video

I have been reading several reports to the effect that our President Mahinda Rajapakse has got files on his legislators both Cabinet level & below about their wrong doings! In my eyes this is a very serious statement for a President to make. In effect he is approving misdemeanors of the Legislators as long as they are supporting him. This fact of him holding files of bribery, corruptions etc is the worst kept secret of his administration as the Joe Public are aware. Him making this statement in a open forum makes my skin crawl as it is so repugnant. I suppose the people of Sri Lanka are quite used to corrupt politicians of all parties & when the President makes a irresponsible statement like this, the public just take it in their stride. When Mr Maithripala Sirisena came forward as the common opposition candidate his Mantra was we have to get rid of the evil regime beset with corruption, nepotism & bribery. Now it seems all this is factually true. Worst news is the both Senior & Junior opposition politicians are being baited with Millions of Rupees to join the government in the wake of MS coming forward as Common Opposition Candidate. Can someone tell me where these Millions of Rupees originating from? I think we know the answer, it is the money stashed by Royal Family for emergency use, is it not?
