Several channels of a private electronic media institution has been blocked this evening on two satellite television service providers to prevent a political debate attended by Maithripala Sirisena, Rajitha Senaratne, Anura Kumara Dissanayake and Ven. Athuraliye Rathana Thero.
MTV, Sirasa and Shakthi TV have reportedly been blocked on Dialog TV and SLT’s Peo TV this evening.
However, the programme commenced as planned at 7.30 p.m.
