Danno Budunge criticism at 2016 Independence Day celebrations is unfair!!!!

Hubert Rajapaksha was a Tower Hall era singer and believed to have sung this song in the 1920s. According to Dr Tissa Abeysekara, Dewar Suriyasena and Hubert Rajapaksha were stealing the limelight to bring about a Sinhala music culture subsequent to the lack of such phenomenon during the imperial rule.
Not much information on Rajapaksha has been published in the electronic media hence I thought it would be worth mentioning this yesteryear artiste whom we have not mentioned in the current circles. The music fittingly encompasses the lyrics.
