Ranjith Fernando the former CEO of NDB is tipped to be the new Governor of the Central Bank. His appointment is being mooted by MP Eran Wickramaratne who himself was a colleague of Mr Ranjith Fernando at NDB.
Fly in the ointment against this appointment is Killy Mahendran (All governments & people in Sri Lanka love to hate him!) who is proposing John Keels Director Indrajith Coomaraswamy.
