It is revealed that Rajapaksa family and those around them have used SL Air Force crafts for 151flights between 1st December, 2014 and 9th January, 2015.
Out of these flights Mahinda Rajapaksa has used 82 flights, Namal Rajapaksa 25 flights, Shiranthi Rajapaksa 10 flights, Basil Rajapaksa 7 flights, Wimal Weerawansa 10 flights, Susil Premajayantha 4 flights, Dayasiri Jayasekera, Sarath Manamendra, Dinesh Gunawardene and Tissa Vitharana 1 flight each. 2 out of the 9 other flights have been used for aerial filming and 7 other flights for various other matters. Mahinda and Shiranthi Rajapaksa are exempted from charges but Namal Rajapaksa has not paid for his 25 flights. Others too have not paid any money for their flights.
Only SL Air Force has revealed information so far regarding the ignoble manner Mahinda Rajapaksa used state resources for his election campaign.
