The commemoration of late Lalith Athulathmudali is due to take place today at the Booker Hall at No. 10, Hedges Court, off Deans Road, Colombo 10 at 5.30 p.m.
A sermon under the theme of ‘A Sri Lanka free of an Executive Presidency’ will be delivered by Ven. Maduluwawe Sobitha Thera, Chief incumbent of the Sri Naga Vihara, Kotte and convener of the National Movement for Fair Society.

Opposition Leader Ranil Wickremesinghe will also be present. Meanwhile the Lalith Athulathmudali Memorial Oration will be held on November 26 at the BMICH (Committee Room A) at 6 p.m. The oration will be delivered by Dr. Subramaniam Swamy, Ph.D. (Harvard), Member of BJP National Executive Committee and former Cabinet Minister, Government of India. The subject of his address will be ‘SAARC Reforms and Globalisation’.
