Rathana thero's shoulder bag stolen by spies

The personal shoulder bag belonging to Ven. Athuraliye Rathana thero has disappeared during the rally organized by “Piwithuru Hetak” organization on Wednesday (12) at Muttaiyah grounds, Colombo.
The bag had contained around 500,000 Rupees in cash allocated for organizational work, thero’s private mobile phone along with several important documents regarding the future programs of the “piwituru hetak” organization as well as the Opposition.
However, later investigations had uncovered who the thief was. It was a clergyman named Bopitiyea Dhammissara who had climbed up the stage uninvited with two other student monks.

After the JHU informing the relevant monk to return the bag immediately, it has been returned yesterday to one of the JHU offices. Though the money and the phone had been returned safely the documents has vanished.

It has now been revealed that this act of espionage has been conducted under instruction of t “top brass” figure in the ruling regime along with the help of a certain top level JHU leader.
